Gilard Electronics was established in 1961 and was among the very first few companies in India in the field of electronics. Through the decades, it graduated to different levels of electronics and then in late 80s, added a lot of automotive customers. Since inception, Gilard has been associated with developing products for defence and instrumentation. The technologies in Gilard have been developed in-house and till date Gilard has made 1000s of components against import substitution for the Indian industry.
