Gilard’s Theatre Group focuses on the company’s CSR activities. A play named “Parchhaiyan,” highlighting the atrocities against women in our society, was launched on 14th Feb, 2013, to join the international Call for Women around the World, “One Billion Rising,” on Valentine’s Day in 2013. The play was conceived and directed by a woman at the director level of the company, and all the actors were women employees of the company. It covered many issues like eve-teasing, rape, dowry deaths, female foeticide, etc. The play was taken as a CSR activity of Gilard for one year Feb 2013 till March 2014, and many performances were done during this period.
